(A Pantoum)
by Barbara McGillicuddy Bolton
l’oeil waves/particles entangle
up into you and me
shout of joy music to the ear
hour here a held note
Welling up into you and me
Unrepeatable creations ever more complex
Our hour here a held note
Beings fully arrived yet unfinished
Unrepeatable creations ever more complex
Our children’s children reaping
Beings fully arrived yet unfinished
Beginning what others carry forth
Our children’s children reaping
Dying and dissolving in a sea of possibilities
Beginning what others carry forth
To the last syllable of time to come
Dying and dissolving in a sea of possibilities
A shout of joy music to the ear
To the last syllable of time to come
Trompe l’oeil waves/particles entangle
